Terms of Service
Last updated: July 2026
These Terms govern your use of ForgePilot ("the Service"), operated by the ForgePilot team ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using ForgePilot on behalf of a company or team, you are agreeing on their behalf and confirming you have authority to do so.
What ForgePilot is
ForgePilot is an AI-assisted engineering workspace: agents and calculators for FMEA, tolerance stack-up, drawing review, standards compliance, and related mechanical engineering analysis, plus project collaboration, cloud file storage, and report generation. It is a tool to help engineers work faster and check their own math — not a substitute for professional engineering judgment, review, or certification.
Engineering output — read this
ForgePilot's calculators are deterministic and independently verified against hand calculation (see the validation page). Its AI agents (FMEA, drawing review, and similar) are reasoning tools, not certified engineering deliverables.
You are solely responsible for independently reviewing, verifying, and taking professional responsibility for any analysis, calculation, or recommendation before relying on it in a real design, build, or safety-relevant decision. ForgePilot is not a licensed professional engineer, does not provide professional engineering (PE) sign-off, and its output does not substitute for review by a qualified engineer where one is required by law, contract, or good practice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or cost arising from reliance on ForgePilot's output without independent professional verification.
Accounts
You need an account to use ForgePilot, authenticated via our identity provider. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your credentials secure. Team accounts: the team owner is responsible for who they add as members and what those members can access within the team's shared workspace.
Plans, billing, and beta pricing
ForgePilot offers Free, Pro, and Enterprise plans, described on the pricing page. ForgePilot is currently in beta; Pro is offered at no charge to beta users, with a stated discount locked in for early sign-ups once paid billing goes live. Where a paid plan is active, subscriptions renew on the billing cycle shown at signup until cancelled; you can cancel anytime and retain access through the end of the current billing period. Enterprise plans are activated individually after a request is reviewed, per the terms agreed with your team.
We may change plan pricing or features with notice on the pricing page. Changes do not apply retroactively to a locked-in rate you have already been granted.
Your content
You retain ownership of files, drawings, and data you upload, and of the reports ForgePilot generates from your work. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you (running analyses, storing files you save, generating reports) — see the privacy policy for exactly what is stored versus processed and discarded.
Do not upload content you do not have the right to share, or content that is unlawful, infringing, or contains others' confidential information without authorization.
Acceptable use
Do not use ForgePilot to:
- —Attempt to bypass usage limits, security controls, or plan restrictions
- —Reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service without our written permission
- —Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise our infrastructure
- —Use the Service for any unlawful purpose, or in a way that infringes another party's rights
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Service "as is"
ForgePilot is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement. We do not guarantee the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated output will be accurate or complete — see the engineering-output section above.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ForgePilot and its team are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for lost profits or data, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose, or 100 USD if you are on the Free plan.
Termination
You may stop using ForgePilot and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms, non-payment on a paid plan, or if required by law. On deletion, your data is handled per the privacy policy.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts having jurisdiction over ForgePilot's registered place of business. This section will be updated with the specific registered entity name and jurisdiction once incorporation is complete.
Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be posted here with an updated date. Continued use of ForgePilot after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
